Jim Figuerado knows marinas. With almost 20 years of experience in marina management, he knew immediately that he had found something special in Grider Hill Marina & Resort.
"Where else can you really be surrounded by all this natural beauty, perfect for camping with a hiking trail and everything, and then turn around and be on the water skiing or fishing on Lake Cumberland all within steps of each other?" he asks.
Jim owns 5 other marinas in surrounding states and commits his time and experience into helping his guests' make lifelong memories.
"Grider Hill is a beautiful place, and it's our goal to exceed our customers' expectations both when they are here and when they are planning to be here. I'm a boat guy so I treat people the way I want to be treated when out on the Lake," says Jim.
To that end Jim has put a new mission statement in place: Our goal is to treat every visitor to our marina as an honored guest in our home everyday, every time, without fail, no exceptions. And in Jim’s case, it’s not only a mission statement, it’s his passion.
