Houseboat Rental Notes & Policies

Reservation, Refund and Cancellation Policies - Reservations may be made by phone, mail, e-mail or in person and will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Refunds or rain-checks will not be given for late arrivals, early departures, cancellations, weather conditions or unforeseen breakdowns. This is a very seasonal business with little chance of walk-in replacement for a cancellation. This fact necessitates a very firm cancellation policy. With 30 day notice however, credit for your deposit may be given for another set of dates in the Quiet Season.

 

Rates - A 6% Kentucky Tax and 5% Admin/Processing Fee applies to all rentals. Entire rental charge, including taxes and fees, must be paid, in full, 30-days prior to your scheduled houseboat vacation. No checks inside 30 days.

 

Linen Service: Available for $50.00 per trip (sheets, pillowcases, towels and washcloths).

 

Deposits - A $600 deposit for Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday rentals is required to reserve your houseboat. Full Week rentals require a $1200 deposit to reserve your houseboat. Your deposit return will be processed within 7 - 10 business days of departure providing there are no damages, missing equipment, excessive cleaning or late check-outs.

 

Check-in Time & Days - The Rental Day begins at 3:00 PM on Mondays and Fridays.

 

Return Time & Days - All houseboats are due back at 10:00 AM on Mondays and Fridays. NO EXCEPTIONS. A late fee of $250.00 per hour will be applied.

 

Other Important Notes: We take all Major credit cards. Houseboats will not be held for “no-shows” beyond the day of arrival unless prior notification. Gas, Ice, Towels and Linens are not furnished. Pet Friendly - Call for details.

What to Bring: Linens - sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, washcloths, dishcloths, potholders, flashlight, camera and video recorders, radio/CD players, ski vests - yoke life preservers furnished, beverages, groceries, paper towels, garbage bags, games, cards, fishing gear and cell phone.
